HEALING RELAXATION IN A COSY FAMILY ATMOSPHERE
Hévíz with its 5,000 inhabitants is the most well-known spa in Hungary. The lake with an area of 47,500 m2 is the largest warm water medicinal lake in the world with an organic peat bed, fed by thermal springs. The water contains sulphides, whilst the mud both organic and inorganic material.
The water rises from a crater-like spring at a depth of approximately 38 meters with an average temperature of 33-35 C° in the summer, not dropping under 23C° even in winter, thus enabling bathing in the open air all year around.
- In the heart of Hévíz, directly above the beautifully renovated pedestrianised streets of the town yet still in a quiet relaxing neighbourhood, we can be found next to the woodland park on a gently sloping hillside barely 150 meters from this medicinal and healing thermal lake. PICTURES>>
- The hotel itself consists of two cosy villas connected by a glass corridor (the Park Hotel and the Kató Villa), and were both completely renovated in 2001, and 2011 to today’s exacting standards. PICTURES>>
ROOMS
The hotel has 26 doubles, 2 singles and 2 triples, all the distinctive rooms are according to the latest hotel trends with en-suite bathroom, shower, mini-bar, television, telephone, safe and hairdryer. PICTURES>>
- There are also non-smoking rooms and those that can be opened into one another or are with a balcony.
- An additional bed or child bed is also available for some of the rooms.
WELLNESS STUDIO
In addition to the sauna and Jacuzzi (33°C in the winter and 28°C in the summer) relaxing chairs, showers and simple fitness machines are also available in the studio. PICTURES>>
- By previous appointment the Studio is available for use daily between 16:00 and 19:00 free of charge, use at other times is also possible for an additional charge.
WATER WORLD
Within all our package specials the entry to the superb Water World complex of the neighbouring Danubius Health Spa Resort Hévíz **** hotel is free. PICTURES>>
- Covered swimming pool (10.3 x 16.3 m, 28°C), covered thermal with two pools (11.8 x 7.6 m and 12.6 x 8.7 m, 33°C and 37°C). Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, hot air chamber.
- Garden water park (200m2), underwater massage, water fall, geyser, Jacuzzi. The experience is completed with subtle coloured lighting and underwater music, a Finnish log sauna in the garden and an open air thermal pool with sunbathing terrace (from mid April to mid October ( 13.5 x 6.6 m, 33 °C)
LAVENDER GARDEN
The café with its homey atmosphere and beautiful terrace provides a selection of special teas, coffee and wines as well as home made cakes (prepared by us on site) based on traditional recipes. PICTURES>>
